WORKSHOP OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

I.         CALL TO ORDER

            The President called the meeting to order at 7:39 p.m.

            Present were:

            President                     -          Mr. Wayne “Red” Taylor

            Vice President            -          Mr. Lynn Allen

            Secretary                     -          Mr. Gene Hayes

            Director                      -          Ms. Karen Gray

            Treasurer                    -          Mr. Rodney Lara

            General Manager        -          Mr. Don Hamon

II.       DISCUSSION, CONSIDERATION OF DISTRICT’S CODIFICATION.

Staff presented the Board with several updates and changes that need to be addressed in the District’s code. Staff recommended taking the code book and updating a section at a time.

III.      DISCUSSION, CONSIDERATION OF DISTRICT’S RETIREMENT SERVICE.

Discussion with Mr. Hutton on the options for District employees through TCDRS and the effect on the employees.

IV.      ADJOURNMENT

            Motion by Mr. Hayes.            Adjourned at 8:44 p.m.
