WORKSHOP MEETING OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS

I. CALL TO ORDER AND INVOCATION

The President called the meeting to order at 7:05 p.m.

Present were:

President - Mr. David Bradshaw

Vice President - Mr. V. Wayne “Red” Taylor

Secretary - Mr. Gene Hayes

Director - Ms. Karen E. Gray

Treasurer Mr. Rodney Lara

General Manager - Mr. Don Hamon

Admin. Assist Ms. Annette Moody

Comptroller - Mr. Lajon Hutton

II. DISCUSSION DISTRICT’S SOLID WASTE

Lynn Lantrip, Dennis Flannigan and Neil Dotson from Waste Management of North Texas were present to discuss with Staff and Board their plans for waste management for the district. Mr. Lantrip discussed the changes, implementation, and cost of their company serving our needs. Briefly some changes would be an increase in weekly pick up from once weekly to twice weekly, bulk waste would be picked up with weekly service instead of monthly.` . They would like to offer personal service to the citizens of Balch Springs that would help beautify our city.

III. MEETING ADJOURNED

Mr. Hayes made a motion to adjourn.

Meeting adjourned at 8:07 p.m.
