CRYSTAL LANE SEWER REPLACEMENT
Cost - $45,000.00

The old sewer pipe is deep and has collapsed obstructing sewer flow and backing up into the residences along the street.

The job starts by locating the last manhole with unobstructed flow and pumping the sewer around the problematic area to another manhole down stream.

Then the contractor moves in and begins excavation.

As excavation deepens safety devices must be put in place.

A section of the old pipe is removed to allow access to install the new pipe.

The new sections are welded together creating 1 long jointless pipe.

A special cone is placed on the beginning of the new pipe and it is inserted into the open end of the old pipe.

When the hydraulic machine is started the new pipe hammers it's way through the old pipe,

crushing it and moving it aside, while replacing it with a new and larger pipe.
